A question on electricity?
A milliammeter with a full scale deflection of 10mA and internal resistance 5ohms is to be modified to become an ammeter with a full scale deflection of 5.0A.
What type of arrangement of resistors and value of resistance should be connected to modify the milliammeter?
Arrangement of the resistor (with the ammeter) Value of resistance/Ohm
A. Parallel 0.01
B. Series 0.01
C. Parallel 10.00
D. Series 10.00
