i’m doing a science project and the teacher said we could pre weigh everything and well i know we’re going to have more labs like this so i thought it would be helpful to just buy a scale for future reference. most of items that need to be weighed are very small such as .05 grams and just to be prepared id love to have it accurate to the .001 gram but if that’s not possible im just looking for a good reliable digital scale any recommendations?

Anyone ever used the health-o-meter weight tracker digital scale?

It was cheap, I got it for less than 30 bucks at walmart. It’s already given me some problems as far as accuracy (it was WAY off if I used it on carpet, so I have to use it on flooring) , and that was last month.

Now, a month later, I weigh myself again, and it says I’ve barely lost anything. And I’ve been going to the gym and watching what I’ve been eating rather diligently. I’m 6′5″, and just under 300 lbs.

Has anyone had experience with this scale or similar digital scales? Is there a problem with the scale, or is it just some problem with me? (I should add, I’ve been going to the gym 3-6 times a week since June. I look a bit better, I feel better, and I’ve noticed a great performance increase at the gym, so I know it’s not for lack of effort there.)

all day sunday i lessened my portions, at more fruits and veggies plus exercised. I got on the scale on monday and it says i lost 5 pounds. I didnt believe it at first, but i continued my day, and on tuesday morning my scale still said I lost that same five pounds( i went from 241 to 236 over night and maintained it) However, my digital scale randomly died on tuesday night. I am wondering could the scale have malfuncitoned and given me a 5 lb weight loss or did i really lose the weight?
