I have a dead circuit in my house and is not the breaker?

Entire circuit died in my house. Did some testing with multimeter and found that probale cause is an open neutral somewhere in the circuit. Because all the circuit is down i figured the fault to be close to breaker box. Its not the breaker, I swapped it with known good one. I was able o jump into the crcuit pretty close to the breaker and the neutral bus. I used an alarm clock, it worked. I pulled apart junctions and recipticales and so on and found no open or any other obvious faults. Then, the circuit came back to life on its own for about 10 minutes. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
