Ordinary Pocket Knife?

Ordinary pocket knife?

Hi all, I live in Kentucky and was reading about the law of carrying a knife as I carry one regularly for utility purposes and the off chance I might need it in an emergency, and it says that a “Ordinary pocket knife or Hunting Knife” is not considered a deadly weapon thus can be concealed without a permit. My question is what makes a knife ‘ordinary’? Would, if stopped by police for something minor like a traffic violation or they see the clip, a knife with say thumbstuds for one handed opening, a lock, and say 3 inchish blade be considered ‘ordinary’?

Also, I have no criminal record or anything if that matters, and if pulled over by the police it would never be something serious, just things such as a traffic violation.

If anyone could give a definition to “ordinary pocket knife” or a case/law that describes it I would greatly appreciate it.
